2023’S HOTTEST GAMEDAY TRENDS

Saturday in South Carolina means the best day of the week — gameday. This means there’s football, tailgates, and most importantly (to some), the outfits. Going to the SEC school means dressing up and getting ready hours before the game, no matter what. Gameday outfit trends change every year, so let’s review some of the biggest trends so far, where to find outfits in Columbia, and how to accessorize and elevate these looks.

Trends

Leather

  • Leather and leather sets have been a trend this year, especially with it being an easy way to elevate a simple black look.

Sets

  • Two piece and matching sets are growing more and more popular, and that also applies to gameday attire, with Gamecock colors especially.

Denim rompers

  • Utility style rompers are becoming more popular, and it’s an easy and comfortable look while also being stylish. These bodysuits come in black denim, regular denim, garnet, and more.

Cowboy boots

  • Even thought its South Carolina, cowboy boots are still growing in popularity as a fashion statement, and that’s definitely clear to see on gameday. It is easy to pair with just about any outfit for a different look than something like a sneaker.

Jerseys

  • Although not a new trend, jerseys are still a gameday essential, especially paired with cowboy boots, denim, a long sleeve shirt, or pretty much anything else. A jersey is a safe, cute, and versatile option for gamedays.

Long skirts and dresses

  • In addition to short dress, maxi and midi dresses have grown in popularity. From a soft knit to satin, these are comfortable and cute for gameday.
